Hello everyone, like the title says. I am trying to buy a car here in Bangkok but was told by the seller I will need at least a certificate of residence or Thai license, I looked at the thai license and it also needs the same certificate, I have a USA car license.
I am on a 30 day visa exempt stamp and the USA embassy shut me down and said they won't notarize even a letter showing residence and to deal with local authorities, so I am desperately looking for a way to get this certificate and wondering if anybody here knows if immigration will give it on visa exemption here in Bangkok? If not any possible options? I appreciate all help, thank you.
