Hi Folks,
So, same old story. Moved to Chiang Mai for the long haul. I was traveling across Thailand for the past two months looking for a place to live. Till now Chiang Mai ticked most of the boxes on my list.
I am currently at a hotel in Chiang Mai at Nimman.
I‘d prefer to live beyond the hustle and bustle of Nimman and the old city. I’ll buy a car and scooter for commuting, so mobility wouldn’t be an issue.
I am not looking for a place that is completely god forsaken though. If the basic amenities like grocery, eateries, and fresh markets are within 3-5 minutes of ride, it’d be great.
Can the experienced folks here please recommend the locales that I need to look out for?
I am looking for a 2 bedroom house, with a reasonable outdoor area and a garage. Budget is 25k THB. I have no pets and will be living alone.
