Re Coffee aims to uplift Samut Prakan with affordable drinks and community events

Re Coffee began as a project between six friends who grew up in Samut Prakan, an hour away from downtown Bangkok. As many folks who live outside of Bangkok will tell you, it can be a pain to get into the city. But things are happening here. 

“There is already such an influx of talent in Bangkok“ says Patcharakamol “Ploy” Pornnisen, one of the partners used to work in communication and community development. “We just thought, why don’t we channel our skills and potential to help our hometown?”

The cafe’s full name is Re Coffee to Community; they’re carving out a community space but also hoping to uplift the businesses around them. “If anyone stops by the cafe, they might check out the shops around us. We want to grow alongside the community,” Ploy explains.
