Rayong: Help needed to make Christmas special for HIV-affected children

In a heartfelt appeal from the Camillian Social Centre in Rayong, they shed light on the lives of the 45 children under their care who are either living with HIV or affected by it.

The centre has been organising a cherished annual tradition since 2006, where these children are taken to Big C Rayong for a special Christmas shopping trip. This simple yet empowering act allows them a rare opportunity to choose something for themselves, a luxury that they seldom enjoy given their circumstances.

The noble cause was previously backed by the Jesters Care for Kids. Their support played a pivotal role in making this yearly trip possible for the children. However, since they ceased their operations, the responsibility of fundraising fell onto the shoulders of the volunteers at the centre.
