Ratchaburi FC picked up their first point in Group G of the AFC Champions League after a goalless draw with South Korean club Pohang Steelers at the Rajamangala National Stadium on Sunday.
Ratchaburi, who have now gone five games without scoring a goal in the tournament, did deal a big blow to Pohang, denting their hopes of finishing on top of the group.
It was a tough game for the Thai club as they found themselves almost immediately pinned in their own half against a Pohang side led by Lim Sang-Hyub and Boris Tashti in attack.
Pohang could have taken the lead in the second minute when Lim chased down a Lee Seung-Mo through pass, but his shot was blocked by Ratchaburi defender Praweenwat Boonyong.
