Rape attempt ends in murder

SAMUT PRAKAN: A “sexually-frustrated” husband has been arrested for murdering a woman living in the same condominium building in Bang Phli district in an attempted rape that went wrong, police said.

Inthu-on Korharn, 23, was found dead next to an elevator on the seventh floor of the B2 Building in the Muang Thong condominium complex in tambon Bang Chalong about 11pm on Saturday.

She had been stabbed in the thigh, which cut an artery and led her to bleed to death, police said.

Police locked down the 10-storey building after a witness reported seeing a man who lived in the building rushing from the seventh floor via the fire escape stairs.

On Sunday morning, police found a blue bloodstained T-shirt in the toilet of an empty room on the fifth floor. The floor of the room was wet and police believed the woman’s killer had taken off the T-shirt to wash himself clean…
