I’m having a hard time deciding between Railay Beach (or another similar beach) or Ko Lanta. My husband and I are taking our belated honeymoon and will be exploring Hong Kong, Cambodia, and Thailand for 2.5 weeks and have our last leg in Krabi. We fly in mid-day to the Krabi airport and have four nights to spend before departing in the early afternoon on the 5th day. I’ve seen a lot of conflicting information on whether the phi phi islands and phuket are overrun or fun (not that they can’t be both). We like exploring, drinking, relaxing and are respectively 28 and 30. Basically we’d like a place that we can plan at least one island hopping trip from and would also like the opportunity to snorkel and kayak. I think it may be a bit much actually staying overnight in both places so if anyone has a recommendation on which is overall better I would greatly appreciate it!
