Producer Yusof Haslam refuses to comment on pregnancy rumours of Syamsul Yusof’s wife No.2

Not wanting to prolong the controversy surrounding his son, Syamsul Yusof suddenly taking a second wife, that’s been circulating in the media all of January, Datuk Yusof Haslam says he’d rather not talk about the matter from now on.

This is because the 68-year-old famed producer-director says his wife, Datin Patimah Ismail, is still upset over Syamsul’s announcement via social media on Jan 6 that he had married Ira Kazar.

Hence, when mStar – The Star’s Malay-language portal – met with him on Monday (Jan 30) during the premiere of the film Harum Malam, Yusof didn’t want to confirm on the rumour that Syamsul’s new wife may be pregnant.

“Whether she is pregnant or not, I do not know. I do not want to comment,” he told mStar.
