Prinn faces new sexual misconduct allegations

A total of four people have filed sexual misconduct complaints against Prinn Panitchpakdi, former Democrat deputy leader, according to Pol Maj Gen Trairong Piwpan, deputy commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Bureau.

Three of the complainants filed their reports with Lumpini police in Bangkok, including one case of a student which came to light earlier in the week, while the fourth did so with Muang Phetchaburi police in Phetchaburi province.

Pol Maj Gen Trairong said the Phetchaburi case involves a former Democrat Party official who alleges she was harassed by Mr Prinn in the province two years ago. He said another case involves Anna Hathairat, a former prominent member of the party. He said she filed a rape complaint regarding an incident last year at a condominium in Bangkok.
