Prepare to get lost in the much larger Queen Sirikit Convention Center.

On Tuesday, N.C.C. Management and Development, the firm in charge of the building’s ongoing overhaul, revealed that the convention center will be five times larger than the original when it opens next year, covering up to 78,5000sqm of space.

The venue will consist of two main exhibition halls covering over 45,000sqm while two conference halls will take up another 10,000sqm area. There will also be another 50 meeting rooms within the sprawling new complex.

Indoor parking space will be able to accommodate up to 2,700 cars.

The center has been closed for renovation since 2019. And the revamp hasn’t come cheap, with a total price tag of THB15 billion (US$451 million).
