Patcharajutar “PK” Kongkraphan celebrated her maiden title on the Thai WPGA Tour in style with a five-stroke win over Ornnicha Konsunthea in the SAT-TWT Open Road To World Ranking event at the Royal Hua Hin Golf Course yesterday.
The former LPGA Tour member shot a three-under-par 69 in the final round with three birdies, one eagle and two bogeys for a three-day total of 10-under 206.
Patcharajutar, 30, took home 367,500 baht in prize money from the 2.5 million baht purse. Ornnicha, 25, shot a 71 for 211.
The wire-to-wire victory is a boost for Patcharajutar, who had three runner-up finishes this year prior to this week.
