Pattaya Sets Date for 15th Annual ‘Walk and Eat Naklua Festival’

Pattaya —

Pattaya is gearing up for the spectacular 15th edition of the “Walk and Eat Naklua Festival,” a signature event dedicated to promoting community-based tourism and showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Naklua sub-district.

The event is scheduled to span six weeks, running from December 2nd to December 24th, 2023, and then again from January 6th to January 14th, 2024, with festivities taking place every Saturday and Sunday.

Led by Mr. Wutthisak Rermkitkarn, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya, preparations were already discussed today, November 14th, at Pattaya City Hall to ensure a seamless event. The Walk and Eat Naklua Festival provides a platform for local residents to share and sell unique, locally produced goods, emphasizing cultural traditions passed down through generations. The road in the event area will be temporarily closed to allow residents to engage in the marketplace and cultural performances. The event area is located near the old seafood market and Lan Pho Public Park in Naklua.

To add an extra layer of excitement, the event will feature concerts by popular young artists, including Nescafe Sri Nakhon, Bai Khao Thai Baan The Series, and Your Mood, creating a festive atmosphere to bid farewell to the old year and welcome the new. This year’s edition promises to be a not-to-be-missed celebration, marking the city’s commitment to supporting local traditions and community spirit.
