I (30(f) booked a trip in January to Thailand with my partner (20m). I’m spending time in Chiang Mai for 4 nights and then I go to Patong for 9 nights.
After reading this subreddit it seems like Patong/Phuket is quite unpopular. Some things to note – I do like to party but I don’t want my whole trip to be centred on this. I like nature / mountains etc. I also think I’d get bored somewhere that’s too remote.
One problem is that I’ve already booked my internal flights and they cannot be changed.
What are some islands that are accessible from Phuket that are accessible by ferry that I could stay at for a few nights? As I don’t have much time in Thailand I don’t want to spend too much time on planes / ferries.
