Oceans in focus via livestream

The United Nations is marking World Oceans Day today through an annual event and activities co-ordinated by the Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea (Office of Legal Affairs).

The 2021 edition is produced in partnership with the non-profit organisation Oceanic Global and presenting partner Blancpain.

The event provides an opportunity to celebrate the importance of the ocean and to better understand how to interact with it in a sustainable manner.
