Nestlé launches plant-based Milo drink in Thailand

Nestlé is offering up a plant-based version of Milo in Thailand. The ready-to-drink milk is based on soy that has been combined with Milo’s malt-based flavour and comes in a recyclable carton with a paper straw.

More and more consumers in Asia are reaching for plant-based alternatives and Nestlé has responded by launching alternatives to its usual dairy products in the region, including plant-based versions of Nescafé and Starbucks drinks. Plant-based Milo was launched in Australia in early 2020.

“Milo is a much-loved and iconic brand, so we are proud to offer people this new soy version,” said Chaiyong Sakulborrirug, Business Executive Officer – Dairy & Adult Nutrition, Nestlé (Thai) Ltd.
