NBTC supports training for people in need

The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) is working with the Department of Skill Development (DSD) and Disabilities Thailand (DTH) to conduct digital skills training for the underprivileged and people with disabilities to support their career opportunities and improve their quality of life.

The target is to reach 40,000 trainees in two years.

The NBTC signed memorandum of understanding agreements for cooperation with the two parties on Friday. The move is in line with the NBTC’s second plan under its universal service obligation scheme, including supporting digital skill-building for 500,000 underprivileged people to enhance their career journey.
