SONGKHLA: A Myanmar migrant worker was killed by a fellow countryman at a workers’ camp in Hat Yai district on Sunday morning, police said.
Pol Capt Prinya Piyayat, a Hat Yai police duty officer, said a team of police officers went to a vegetable oil factory in the Muang Kho Hong Municipality to investigate after being alerted to the incident.
In a room at a workers’ camp near the factory, a Myanmar man, Aung Soe Lwin, 37, was found dead, lying face down with a fractured skull. He had been hit in the head with a crowbar, which was left in the room.
