BANGKOK — In the mountainous northern Thai province of Chiang Mai, a real estate agent originally from Myanmar is using his three decades of experience in Thailand to advise compatriots who want to buy property outside their strife-torn country.
The man, who changed his name from Lomboon to Somboon when he swapped countries, has seen a surge in clients from Myanmar since the military takeover two years ago.
