Finally made the decision what area to relocate and chose Soi 24/Sukhumvit Area. I chose this area because I would typically stay at the Marriott Queen Marquis and just enjoyed the area..
I Decided on a Short Term lease vs. Long term to make sure it’s the right area and make sure I don’t have any crazy neighbors. I will have potential option to make it long term.. but also keep my options open for other condos around.
Main factors:
1. Central area for long time tourist but 1st time “resident” of BKK
2. Close to public transport
3. Close to parks (Benchasiri and Benchakitti) (love basketbal, walking and jogging) also considering buying a bicycle for Benchakitti. Also just love all the sport options Benchakitti park has.
Switching from previous tourist to resident anyone have suggestions around that area? I do like a nice chill vibe at night but will not hang out at NEP or Cowboy. Prefer Thai Beer Garden spots.
One thing that I may lack is a good night market for food? Although short trip to terminal 21.
