Moving money from Thailand to USA.

I believe this has been answered in the past but i have about 1mil baht in an account at Bangkok Bank and hope to wire it to the States. I’ve heard a few times in the past that it’s difficult to move money out of the country and I’m wondering what that entails. I’ll be going to the bank in person on Friday but any information do’s/don’ts would be greatly appreciated.
The money came from selling a home in case that makes a difference?
