Moped/bike rent rules

Struggling to find “official rules” coming from UK
Planning on a few weeks trip sometime in March
I only have a provisional driving licence, but have a CBT (basically let’s you ride a 125 bike with L plates)
I’ll hopefully have my full big boy motorbike license soon but ain’t planing on bothering with my car license anytime soon. Is that enough to legally drive a motorcycle in Thailand/what would I need to apply for before my trip?
