Modelling the Mughals

Last season, Khanidtha Daroonnate based her design concept on the core idea of escapism and coming to an equilibrium, following the ongoing pandemic and unprecedented changes.

For summer 2021, the founder and creative director of Canitt fashion house explored the cultures of South India for the All That Raj collection. The design team was particularly inspired by the arts, cultures and architecture of the Mughal empire that thrived from the 16th to the early 18th century in the subcontinent.
