Met Office Somerset weekend weather forecast – when seven days of sunshine faces a sudden end

Somerset looks set to bask in days of sunshine and highs of 22C ahead of a dramatic shift in weather conditions which could bring heavy rain and potential thunderstorms.

The weekend is shaping up to be a glorious one, with towns and cities including Taunton, Bath, Yeovil and Weston-super-Mare forecasted to have hours of unbroken sunshine, which looks set to carry on into next week, the Met Office predicts.



But weather graphics from WX Charts show heavy rain could arrive in the South West, West Midlands and Wales, and parts of the North East on June 13. The Met Office long range forecast also states an ‘uncertain second half to the month’ is expected.
