Man Stabbed in Throat by Brother-in-law In Pattaya






Pattaya—

At 10:00 PM, on January 12th, 2024, Sawang Boriboon Foundation Rescue Unit Pattaya received a report of physical assault in which a man was stabbed in his throat in Soi Sukhumvit 89, Bang Lamung, Chonburi.

The rescue teams rushed to the incident scene and performed first aid on the victim, publicly identified as Mr. Kowit Mongkolsri, 37, who was stabbed with a sharp object, causing a deep wound to his throat and blood covering his body.


Kowit, the victim, reportedly said to the rescue team that he quarreled with his brother-in-law over an alleged flirting situation with another person. The situation escalated to the point when Kowit’s brother-in-law allegedly stabbed the victim in his throat with a sharp hand scraper.
However, Kowit was able to flee by motorbike to ask for help from his neighbor, said the rescue team. Initially, Kowit was transferred to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Police would be looking into the situation and searching for the suspect, whose name was not immediately released to the press.
