Man Shot Dead Over Family Dispute in Pattaya Area






Banglamung –

A man was shot to death over a family dispute near Pattaya.

Captain Wongsathorn Makkanan of the Banglamung Police was notified of the incident on Wednesday (September 27th) at 6:30 P.M. at a rental house on the railway road in Nongprue.

Police and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find the injured man, Mr. Adisak Malahom, 42. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he tragically was pronounced dead.

The suspect was identified by police as Mr. Nattaphon Kongnurak, 38. He was arrested near the scene. Seized from him was a handmade hand gun with one bullet.

The suspect’s mother Mrs. Payao Kaewthai, 69, told police that Mr. Adisak was her ex-son in law. He continually had argued with her son about an unknown problem. Nattaphon is the brother of Mr. Adisak’s ex-wife.

Nattaphon was taken to the Banglamung Police Station for further legal actions. He refused to give any statement to reporters and has not entered a plea as of press time.
