Looking to do 1 year of working from UK – any advice?

I’ve travelled Thailand before and am desperate to go back, but this time spend longer and do some bar work/something casual to keep me going. What would be your advice for someone looking to migrate from the UK? Is it easy to get work visa? And is bar work or something along these lines enough decent enough pay to find accommodation, go out etc?
