Looking for work – Thai National, born in the USA been here for a year now.

I’m honestly just lost and at a crossroads. I don’t want to teach english. I’m conversational in Thai, but really struggling with reading/writing (working on it.)

So little bit about me. Born in the USA, 1/2 Thai (Got my ID and passport), registered nurse (can’t work as a RN in Thailand, not fluent enough), masters in public health and public administration. 44 years old. I have been on holiday for just under a year now, but I really want to find a real job.

I haven’t a bloody clue where to look, what companies exist. I have skills I just don’t know how to leverage them.

Any suggestions on where to start, any job agencies out there that you can think of? I could just start shotgunning my resume all over the country, but I’d like something more targeted. What kind of job can I do related to healthcare that isn’t nurse.

Really need a damn school guidance counselor….I don’t know what the hell I want to do here, or what I’m even allowed to do!
