The capital saw significant snowfall on Tuesday – the third day in a row that it has snowed in the capital – as the mercury peaked at around 1C, with a chilly wind making it feel as cold as -5C.
And there is predicted to be yet more flurries on Wednesday, with forecasters warning that temperatures could plummet to around -4C and feel even colder.
A yellow warning for snow remains in place, amid warning of travel disruption, while experts are also cautioning people to be wary of slipping on ice.
