Hello! I’m currently traveling with my partner and while we were in Laos we learned that her close friend developed cancer while pregnant with twins. It went undetected due to the pregnancy and things are pretty bad. While in Mun-Houamuang, in southern Laos, we visited a beautiful small wat and met a monk who did a beautiful blessing and gave us 3 Sai Sins, or sacred threads, for the sick friend and her newborn twins. Long story short, we lost the Sai Sins while traveling and my partner is heart broken.
We’re in Bangkok for 6 days and I’m hoping to making it up to her by finding a similar experience. I imagine it won’t be the same at a large scale temple so I’m hoping someone may know a smaller temple or know a monk that may be helpful. We’re English and French speakers if that’s helpful.
