Legallity of airsoft in Thailand for foreigners

Hi guys, i am a 19 year old (soon to be 20) male that currently resides in Malaysia. I plan on coming to Bangkok, Thailand in the near future for a month for vacation and due to my home country’s very strict laws on firearms and airsoft guns i am unable to persue the hobby as much as i want. As a foreigner am i allowed to purchase an airsoft gun and own it? (granted my family is renting an apartment so i do have a place to store it safely). Is there anything i should know before persuing the hobby here?

P.s i am aware this question has been asked before, but i do want to make sure and i want to respect Thai laws and culture
