Korat villages in lockdown after boy tests positive

NAKHON RATCHASIMA: Two villages in Soeng Sang district have been placed under lockdown after the province’s 11th Covid-19 infection was detected here.

The 11th patient is a 7-year-old boy who accompanied his father and twin sisters on a trip from Thanyaburi district in Pathum Thani to attend cremation rites for a relative in Soeng Sang district on Saturday.

That same day, he tested positive for Covid-19. The boy was admitted to Maharat Nakhon Ratchasima Hospital for treatment.
