Thai League 1 leaders Buriram United staged a fightback from three goals down to earn a 4-4 draw with bitter rivals Muang Thong United on Sunday night.

The result at Muang Thong’s Thunder Dome kept alive Buriram’s hopes of wining the title without defeat.

After 19 games, the Thunder Castle hold a nine-point advantage over second-ranked Bangkok United.

Muang Thong stunned the visitors, racing to a three-goal lead with strikes by Eric Johana in the third and 31st minutes and Poramet Artvilai in the 12th minute.
