Is this how the weather will be until December?

My first time staying longer than April in Thailand. Just came to Phuket last Sunday and it’s pretty much raining all day. With breaks. Is this really how it will be the next 7 months? What you guys doing here, if so? Staying in your room all day if the rain doesn’t stop?

I will head back to Bangkok on Thursday. So there are way more things to do when it’s raining. But I read that rain season means usually rain in the morning or rain for an hour and then sunshine all day. That’s what I saw on YouTube videos. So far that’s not true lol
