Is it ok to visit CM on Vesak

I am planning to visit Chiang Mai around end of May 2024. I noticed that Vesak Day falls on 22nd May next year, so I was wondering if a lot of tourist spots will be closed for Vesak Day / whole week of Vesak ? I am not sure whether I should avoid these dates or not. I’m planning to be there for about 4-5 days so I don’t want to go only to not be able to visit places due to closing on public holidays.

I’m female and it will be my 1st time travelling alone in Thailand.

Any advice?
