Irish three-piece rock band The Script will play Bangkok later this year, organizer Live Nation Tero announced this morning.
As a part of its Greatest Hit Tour, the band – consisting of vocalist Danny O’Donoghue, guitarist Mark Sheehan, and drummer Glen Power – will perform popular tracks such as The Man Who Can’t Be Moved, Breakeven, and Superheroes.
The concert will take place Sept. 28 at Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani. The announcement came one day after a gig organizer teased the letters ‘T’ and ‘S’ on Facebook, inviting music fans to guess big names like Taylor Swift, The Strokes, or even exiled prime minister Thaksini Shinawatra.
Other Southeast Asian cities on the tour band include Manila (Sept. 23), Singapore (Sept. 25), and Jakarta (Sept. 30).
The last time the trio performed in Bangkok was in April 2017.
