I live in Thailand,and have been thinking of using Bank Transfer as a direct transfer method for my international clients.
I have had clients say that an IBAN code is needed for international funds, but my bank only has SWIFT code.
Is an IBAN code really necessary to transfer funds from western countries to Thailand? Although my bank states that only a SWIFT code is required, a lot of my clients are unable to pay up due to ‘incomplete account information for international transfer.’
Note: I use Bangkok Bank.
