A trough or wind discontinuity persists over South Peninsular India, bringing isolated, light to moderate rainfall and lightning over Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka during the next four days and over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema on Sunday, March 27. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast isolated heavy rains over Kerala on Sunday.
A cyclonic circulation lies over northeastern India and resultant southwesterly winds bring substantial moisture over the region for the next five days. Isolated to scattered rain with lightning is expected across northeastern states in this period.
A feeble Western Disturbance is likely to affect Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh from Monday to Thursday.
