I might be dumb, but what’s stopping the conservative parties from just forming a government directly?

The army’s got 250 seats in the senate.

Bhumjaithai’s got 70 seats.

Palang Pracharat’s got 41 seats.

United Thai Nation’s got 36 seats.

That’s 397 seats, right? Enough to form a government?

I guess they’d probably first allow MFP to flounder to try to form a government (on the incredibly lopsided terms they’ve created)… but it feels like they’ve actually got a lot of leverage here? They’ve got the seats *and* the guns?

Maybe I’m misinterpreting, or am overly jaded?
