I hate Pa Tong but will be here for another four nights – suggestions?

Stuck here in Pa Tong for another five nights. I think it’s a filthy tourist trap. Now what is it that people are raving about on Phuket? I’d love to hear opinions by people who share my sentiment.

Did one little tour into the “jungle” but seems like there is a construction of a road going on. Wasn’t a very beautiful sight.

Would be interested in watching a Muay Thai fight but I’m not going to pay +1500 Baht for that. That is definitely overprized.

Scuba diving would be great. But everything here has the appeal of a rip off, which is why I am hesitant to do that with a Pa Tong based diving shop. I’ll move on to Ko Lanta and Krabi. Or can somebody from personal experience recommend a dive shop?
