Thailand will celebrate the young Saturday, and Bangkok has plenty of things for them to do free of charge this weekend, with a number of venues and transportation services participating in Children’s Day.
BTS, MRT
The two major commuter rail systems, BTS and MRT, will offer free rides for kids to hop around town only on Saturday. The children must be young or very short, however: Fares will be waived for those under 14 years or 140 centimeters. They must be traveling with their parents at all times.
Parents can get free passes at the ticket booths of all BTS or MRT stations.
