Is there some type of “law” in Thailand where a large retailer has to hire a minimum of employees though they’re not needed? Every time I walk into a HomePro or Global house there are 20+ salesclerks standing around because of no customers ( not their fault). Definitely they’re not needed. It’s almost as if they’re paid to do nothing. Meanwhile I do not see so many employees at Big C or Tesco which are also big “block stores”.
Curious.
