A former Danish consular officer was found dead at his house on an estate in Bangkok’s Chatuchak district this morning (Sunday).
According to a Sutthisan police report, the decedent moved into the house about a month ago and had an appointment with some construction workers today regarding house repairs.
The workers rank the doorbell, but there was no response and they detected a foul odour coming from within the house, so they alerted the police.
After forcing their way in, they found the dead man under a cardboard box in the bathroom on the second floor.
No details are currently available about the identity of the man or the cause of his death, except that he was about 63 years old and a former consular officer at the Danish embassy in Bangkok.
