Five world-renowned artists have exhibited their works on the same premises in Bangkok for the first time during “Dialogue Perspectives” at JWD Art Space, until Dec 17.
On display are more than 40 pieces by international artists from several parts of the world — Johan Deckmann from Denmark; Richard Colman, Maxwell McMaster and Jordan Nickel from the US; and Snipe1 from Japan; with Deckmann and Colman showcasing for the first time in Thailand.
As a text-based artist who believes that letters can express meanings as all art forms can, Deckmann has merged strengths in painting, poetry and psychology to bare the complexities of life through letters on books and canvases. His show is a breath of fresh air towards transparency and purpose amid life’s volatility, thus, promoting inspiration, motivation and self-realisation.
