Anyone else paying 10 baht per unit of electricity? I moved into a new place 2 months ago. 1 bedroom apartment in Chalong. I didn’t pay attention to the electricity cost when I signed my 6-month lease and I’m paying roughly 4700 baht/month, almost 1/3 the price of my rent. I only have 1 AC unit. My previous place was a condo, slightly bigger, with 2 AC units and I never paid more than 2500 baht. I asked a Thai friend and he said I’m getting ripped off by my rental agency at 10 baht per unit. I asked my rental agency and they claim it just depends on the condo. I guess I don’t have any recourse as the cost was mentioned on my lease.
