SONGKHLA: A drug courier was detained and a large quantity of methamphetamine seized when police raided a house in Hat Yai district on Tuesday.
Pol Col Akrawut Taneerat, the Hat Yai police chief, said investigators had learned that house No 85/41 at Preeprem Siriwan Housing Estate in tambon Khlong Hae followed was probably being used to store methamphetamine pills and crystal methamphetamine, or ice.
Police obtained a warrant and searched the house.
