Hi all, sorry for asking yet another question about burning season in early Feb. I went this August to your beautiful city and really, really want to to the MHS loop but, preferably, without extra shower rain. I live in Asia, our main holiday is the Chinese New Year so I was thinking of coming back on February 8-9th and starting on the 10th.
From what I read, some people think CM is ok in early Feb, for others, it is a no. I guess it would be worse in my case as it is a road trip, 1/riding with a mask is meh, 2/ smoked view, hum. It is a downer because I really, really want to do the ride, but I could just be patient and more thoughtful than my usual self and postpone that for September 2024.
Would you ride the loop in early to mid Feb (say, from the 10 to the 16) or it is just a dumb idea?
