So a friend of mine is going through a divorce and she hired herself a lawyer.
The lawyer is charging her 60,000 baht total fees and we’re wondering if this is reasonable?
The lawyers work involved advice over the phone maybe on 3-4 occasions for perhaps 10 mins at a time.
Also the lawyer drove from Bangkok to Pattaya for a 3hr meeting with my friend and her Farang husband and then wrote a document explaining what the agreement was that is meant to be given to the husband.
This lawyer speaks no English. Thai only.
EDIT: The lawyers job was pertaining to property settlement, not the actual divorce itself. They were not married in Thailand. He is from the UK they were married in the UK.
