A purveyor of cold cuts, cheeses, house wines and good outdoor vibes has come to Phrom Phong.
El Mercado, the French-style bistro and popular grocer tucked inside Soi Phai Singto, has opened a new branch mid-Sukhumvit: El Mercado Calle 35.
Like its sister locations, the market-style venue will feature imported cheese, cold cut platters and fresh seafood, as well as an extensive list of wines and well-executed Mediterranean dishes on its signature chalkboard menu. Diners should stay tuned to its weekly set lunch – starters, mains and desserts – offered between THB399 and THB499.
Semi-hidden in Soi Phai Singto, El Mercado first opened as a retailer before expanding to serving food in late 2015. The deli and al fresco diner serves cheese, charcuterie, wines and seafood from Europe. In 2018 it opened a second joint in Soi Suan Phlu.
