A shipment containing cardboard boxes shipped from the United States to Thailand took a macabre turn, as it contained skeletons of human legs. The shipment arrived in the Sri Racha district of Chonburi province on Tuesday, December 19th.
Sri Racha police were thrown into disarray after receiving a report about the discovery of human remains inside a box that had arrived at a material sorting company in Sri Racha around 1 PM yesterday.
Inside a shipment of recyclable cardboard paper from the United States, workers at the company found two human legs in a skeletal condition. They immediately notified Sri Racha police and rescue workers to inspect the remains.
According to Sri Racha police, the legs still wore sneakers, black in color. The legs have been sent to the Forensic Science Institute at the Police Hospital for examination.
The name of the sorting company has been withheld by the police.
