Hey! Kind of a long shot, I know attitudes towards smoking in Thailand are very modern, but perhaps somebody has been in my situation. I need to smoke (I smoke a tobacco pipe) when working, and sit outside. I cannot work in cubicles with “ergonomic” chairs and AC, they just kill me.
I work a remote software job (have work permit), but I’m tired of working from my condo, where there’s always noise in the morning (condo’s waterfalls) and afternoon (kids are back and running around screaming). I live in Asoke area.
So I’m looking for a coworking space with a nice-ish smoking area. It should be protected from rain. If it has sockets, 10 out of 10, I’m buying a lifetime membership now! :)
PS: I tried working from the Hive on 45, it has the rooftop, but it’s either damn hot (they don’t have much shadow there) or raining (they don’t have much protection from the rain). No sockets either (though during The Tour they said there are… well there are indeed, they just forgot to mention they’re not connected…).
